REAL TALK
1st verse
I’ve been to Baltimore Maryland and Washington D.C.
I’ve seen politician play and i witnessed the poverty
Struggle is a part of me it runs deep in my arteries
So much so, i can write an autobiography
We as the body be tripping like we aint got no dominion
We scared to make decisions, we cowards in my opinion
How can we conquer with no courage?
What’s faith without works?
Sometimes i get discouraged, i swear to god it hurts
These folks wanted to be a Christian for perks and prestige
But are you willing to suffer hurt, are you prepared to bleed
Are you a solider for Christ or a hypocritical scribe
Judah show forth your praise
Your god is alive
He came and he died, he was crucified
But god raised him, if you believe this to be so
Then indeed, welcome to the kingdom
For the ones contra plating, he loves you and he’s waiting
The end is near, this world is fading
He debating, lord “ save em”.

Talking on chorus:
When i say welcome to the kingdom. I am saying has god so worked in your heart through the preaching of the gospel that the god you once ignored and hated, you now desire him and esteem his worth above every other thing, that the sin you once love you hate with a passion because it offend a holy and just god.
Romans 10:10 for with the heart, one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. |
